We are growers of Forestry Conifers, Scottish Native Broadleaves, Hedging, Game Cover, Willows, Fruit Trees, Potted Trees and Shrubs. Wholesale Pricelists can be posted out on request. Sorry, we cannot take credit / debit cards at the moment.

Our Stock
We stock hardy Acers, Cotoneasters, many varieties of Rowans, Birches, Crab apple, flowering & Japanese cherries and many more! Plus some large specimen conifers and a range of fruit trees.

 

Bare Root
Bare root stock available November to late March depending on weather - Minimum order 100 plants. Bare root orders can be sent by courier within Scotland.  Factsheets available for hedging and screening/windbreaks

Mon - Sat 8am 'till 5pm (Strictly by Appointment). Closed Sunday.

 

About Us
Business established 1993. John has over 40 years experience in the forestry & ornamental nursery trade. We have developed 150 Acres of native broadleaf woodlands and planted 2 hedges on our property, so plenty of practical experience!

Public Sale of Potted Trees & Shrubs

Friday 12th to Monday 15th October 2018  9am-5pm No appointment necessary on sale days

Come & walk round our huge range of potted ornamental trees & shrubs on our nursery in beautiful Glenisla. The Autumn colours are just starting on the maples & Red Oaks, & trees are heavy with crab apples and Rowan berries. Big range of Acers, Birches, Beech trees, crab apples, Rowans etc Range of potted fruit trees & lots of small shrubs.   Book stall for `Help for Heroes` stock up for winter reading.

Please note cash or cheque only as we are unable to take cards (dodgy mobile mast!)

New 2018/19 full price list  (bare root & potted stock) will be available from late September 2018. Ring or e mail Chris if you would like a copy posted out once printed. Bare root lifting of trees & hedging starts November.

Recycling plastic pots - We will gladly take back clean, undamaged black plastic pots and tree tubs size 4 litre and above and reuse them  Please either bring to an open weekend or contact Chris to arrange an appointment to drop them off.
