Woodbury Estate

We are growers of bare root Beech hedging, some root balled conifers & broadleaves. Potted Ornamental trees, fruit trees and Shrubs. Field grown specimen trees eg. Copper Beech, Hornbeam, hardy Acers.   The potted stock area is expanding and we don`t plan on retiring yet.

Potted Stock
We stock hardy Acers, flowering thorns, Hollies, Cotoneasters, many varieties of Rowans, Himalayan Birches, Crab apples, flowering & Japanese cherries and many more! Plus some large specimen conifers and a range of fruit trees. We are currently expanding this side of the business.


Bare root season 2020/21
Bare root Beech hedging and a few other species will be available from November 2020. The annual price list for bare root and potted stock will be issued in September. Please e mail Chris if you would like a copy sent out.


Opening Hours
Mon -Fri  9am 'till 5pm,  Sat 9am till 12 noon.  Some afternoons may be available  (Strictly by Appointment)  Closed Sunday.

Business established 1993. John has over 40 years experience in the forestry & ornamental nursery trade. We have developed 150 Acres of native broadleaf woodlands and planted 2 hedges on our property, so plenty of practical experience!

Red squirrels are back in the garden.  When you visit....see if you can spot them. 

Potting programme well under way.... stock that will be available in Autumn 2021 being added to price list. We will also be restocking sold out lines in August including many ornamentals, plums & damsons, 

Recycling plastic pots - We will gladly take back clean, undamaged black plastic pots and tree tubs size 4 litre and above and reuse them  Please either bring to an open weekend or contact Chris to arrange an appointment to drop them off.
